What was removed from a barbershop site
The first cut was structural. Opening hours had been hidden behind JavaScript. Search engines could not read them. Some phones could not read them. The fix was plain HTML that renders first and renders everywhere.
The second cut was semantic noise. The head carried a long stack of repeated location terms written for ranking systems that no longer use them. They did not help discovery. They did signal carelessness.
The third cut was decorative movement that interrupted scanning. The homepage stopped trying to perform and returned to listing what matters: hours, address, services, and a phone number that calls.
Nothing was added to compensate for what left. The page became easier to read because it had less to demand.
